The Six Men of Washington video and poem is an update to the story of The Elephant and the 6 Blind Men - the perfect analogy to Washington's antics.  Like the original parable where a bunch of blind scholars unsuccessful argue about what an elephant is, Washington’s politicians, pundits and economists continue to unsuccessfully argue about how to solve our list of woes (unemployment, debts and deficits, poverty, wealth inequality, etc.).

By now, it should be obvious that these people do not fully understand the problem nor the forces acting on our system.  Beyond providing a little humor, this site hopes to help America see a couple of the Elephants in the room, and to offer a couple of simple, but logical and proven solutions - that we believe could put millions of Americans back to work in months, not years– without digging a deeper debt and deficit ditch. 

We believe there are a few simple ways to bring our shell shocked nation to a soft and safe landing, but it requires us to think and act differently.  We invite you to "see what we see" in our videos below and the other ideas throughout this site.   We hope you enjoy and share your own insights.  Thank you, and God Bless America!

Economic recovery is not inevitable! Washington hasn’t solved the jobs crisis because they don’t fully understand it, and they haven’t confronted a very important underlying cause.  Until we do, millions of Americans will remain desperate for work.  The President, politicians and pundits are now saying that it could take until 2017 before the unemployment rate goes below 5 percent again, and that "there is NO MAGIC BULLET." 

We disagree.  We believe there is a remarkably simple solution.  The provocative video below reveals a game changer and should help you better understand an unseen force that makes this recovery more challenging than ever before and we offer a revolutionary new solution that answers, what to do about it.

We recognize this idea is outside the box, and needs more discussion by real economists, but the voluntary Redistribution of Work may be the fastest answer to our unemployment crisis - and a number of social and economic problems we've avoided for years.
